My best friend is called Daniel and he is 14 years old. He lives on the same street as me in Paris.
He's handsome, tall and well-built. His blue eyes make anyone turn their heads while his sporty appearance helps him look older than he really is.
We met at a fighting convention in Lyon, when we were 13. I saw him at the BJJ area and went up to him to ask about his favourite fighter. He said the same name I had in my mind. I discovered that we were neighbours when we exchanged our phone numbers.
We often meet at his place after school because he's home alone until 8 pm. We first finish our homework and then play Fortnite on his PS5 till it is time to go to MMA training.
We usually talk about our dreams to be in the UFC and fight in front of millions of people. The reason we want to fight there is because it's the most prestigious category of martial arts fighting.
Daniel is the most caring person I've ever met. He is always there for me even at my lowest. He is also really smart and he's actually at the top of his class. My friend is a great cook as well, he makes the best pasta in the world.
Daniel is exceptionally good at working under pressure. For example he won the last fighting event even though he had two fingers broken.
I enjoy spending time with Daniel because whenever we go out we have a lot of fun. He also has a good sense of humor, so there isn't a day he doesn't make me laugh. However we do not spend time only by ourselves, we also invite four more of my and Daniel's friends.
The only down side of being his friend is the fact that he sometimes becomes over-competitive, and I'm not really a big fan of that. But who is perfect?

Electronic commerce, or e-commerce, is the process of buying and selling goods on the internet. To do this, you obviously need access to a computer, but you also need a bank account and a credit or debit card. Online shopping is becoming more and more popular. Most of the large chain stores that you find in towns and cities across the country also have a website where you can shop online. However, some shops actually only exist online.

Advantages

Online shopping is very convenient. You can shop at your leisure in the comfort of your own home at whatever time of day or night. Websites don’t close!

You can often get value for money. There are price comparison websites that show the shops that sell a certain product and the different prices. By comparing prices, you can get the best deal.

You can return the goods you ordered if you don’t like them or if they don’t fit, but you usually have to pay to post them.

Disadvantages

There is the opportunity for identity theft. Computer hackers can gain access to your personal details and your credit card number, and then steal

your identity.

You can only see photos of the product. You can’t see or touch the product before you buy it so the quality might not be as good as you expect. In some cases, a designer product might actually be a fake.
